Yippee Skippee!!! I lost 1.6 over the past 2 weeks! It’s the first time I’ve missed a meeting (I was at market) and lost when I returned 🙂
Obviously this whole “going to the gym” thing is paying off! Who’d have thought? *snicker*
The first time back in a gym in over 2.5 years and I did 27 minutes on the elliptical! I was pretty darned-stinking-proud of myself for that. I also did a little bit of free weights 🙂 I am thinking that I might need one or 2 sessions with a trainer to come up with a work out routine. I am petrified that I am going to do something weird with the free weights (they don’t really have weight machines at my gym :/ ) and I will either end up hurting myself or people will laugh and be all like “Hey! Look at the fat girl that doesn’t know what she’s doing”
See that face? ^^^ That is what sheer exhaustion looks like on me! Tuesday morning I joined the Zumba Gold class. Its designed to be low impact and was a TON of fun, but it definitely makes you move! I will be there again this week! Not only did I do a 35 minute zumba class that morning, I did an additional 25 minutes on the elliptical!
The best thing about my gym? Between 10 am and 3 pm its pretty much dead! I can go work out/bounce around like a chubby goof to my heart’s content and there is pretty much no one to watch! Score!!
At my Weight Watchers meeting today I got this neat little gadget! I wear it around and each day it monitors and tracks my activity levels! I can set goals, create challenges and keep my butt moving with this little guy. Definitely going to have to give him a name! LOL
I’m off to buy some more fruits and veggies since we’re pretty much out 🙂

– MOVE my butt (aka more gym time!)
– Track what I eat (been having issues with this one)
– Make good choices when Turkey day rolls around! (Just say NO to more stuffing!)
