So the past few weeks haven’t been ALL that productive. I kinda lost momentum after August’s market weekend. Ya know… since it was my birthday week. I figured being lazy was allowed ๐
This week has been much better ๐ I spent several hours with my friend Shelli and her long arm quilting machine on Monday! I got two quilt tops quilted! One is a gift I am hoping to trim and bind and mail off before the end of this week and the other was a top my MIL wanted done. It was good practice! I’m a little bit too fast at times, and it can effect the tension. I’m learning to regulate my speed and having fun in the process. ๐
This machine is definitely intimidating when you’re not too sure what you’re doing! So glad I’ve got Shelli to help me out! OH and we’re in the process of looking for a store front down town… we’re gonna move the fabric shop! Eventually… I’m gonna be REALLY busy in the new year!
I had a custom order for some Stately Love Cozies for some Notre Dame fans ๐ It was nice to stitch up something a little different! BTW, if you ever have an idea for something custom, feel free to email me ๐ I LOVE stitching and will work with you to create the perfect custom piece! ๐
These Ouchie Owls have been sewn and just waiting to be turned right side out and stuffed… so last night I went to town!
As of this morning, 6 are stuffed and ready to be photographed! The other 5 will be done by the end of the day ๐ Then its back to sewing!
I was able to sneak off and do a little shopping last week and got some fun new fabric! I can’t wait to show you the new zippies that are coming to the shop! But that will have to wait until next week ๐
Happy Wednesday!
