Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays. I love that we can be purposeful about spending time with family, counting our blessings and taking time out of our busy schedules to say thanks! And of course, EAT! 🙂
Ever since the beginning of this week I’ve had thanksgiving on my mind. Well, more specifically, thanksgiving dinner! This year I’m doing all the cooking for Hubby, his parents, possibly my step-daughter and myself. I’ve been looking around for some yummy sounding recipes, and I’ve put together a list of potential dinner options…
Turkey:
2. Cranberry Stuffed Turkey Breast
3. Roasted turkey Breast with Pumpkin Sage Gravy
4. Roast Turkey with Cornbread Stuffing
Sides:
1. Rosemary Mashed Sweet Potatoes
2. Pumpkin Pie Spiced Sweet Potatoes
4. Lightened Cranberry Waldorf Salad
5. Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
6. Broccoli with Prosciutto and Gruyere Sauce
7. Gluten Free Cornbread Dressing
9. Prosciutto Asparagus Bundles
Dessert:
I’ve got lots of options for dinner to choose from… I’m still a little intimidated by the idea of cooking a big turkey… but I think I can manage 🙂 Whats on your menu for Thanksgiving Dinner?

Yum-OH! 🙂 I love all the different choices – you're gonna have a tasty dinner there! We usually have turkey, ham, beans, potato salad, hot rolls, fruit salad, cornbread dressing, and broccoli cheese rice casserole. The desserts are: apple pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, and usually a buttermilk pie. Nothing fancy, but all good eats.

Okay, I'm totally salivating over here… I can practically smell all the good food now! One of my favorite side dishes that my grandma makes is mashed turnips. I only eat turnips on Thanksgiving, but I can't get enough!

As always, you are a gem for sharing these. We finally decided what we were going to do for Thanksgiving, and now I need to get to making my grocery list. You are a life saver!

Jennifer, I love this roundup- everything you could possibly need for Thanksgiving dinner! We always have the tried and true, "Mom's recipes" meal…but I like to throw in one or two out of the ordinary historical dishes- last year was Indian Corn Pudding. Makes fun conversation pieces!
