Planner Essentials for the New Year

Its a New Year! That means that many of us have been cracking open new planners for the first time and setting them up just the way we like them. I’m sharing all my favorite planner essentials for the new year and a new planner!

My new Happy Planner arrived just in the nick of time for me to start of January with a fresh planner and wintery lay out! Since then I’ve added a few more planner essentials to my etsy and amazon shopping carts! Gotta make sure that I have everything that I could need on hand!

#1 Gilded/Metallic Washi Tape:

I’m a washi tape loving fool and I can not get enough of the gilded, metallic, and gold foil options that are out there! These are some of my current favorites and all of these are currently being shipped to me as I type… cause I just couldn’t resist!

#2 Seasonal Stickers:

Currently I’m planning week by week, but I am thinking ahead past January and Winter into February and the Spring. These are a few of the seasonal stickers I’m eyeballing, already own, or DEFINITELY need to have in my life!

#3 Practical Planner Essentials:

There are also some practical, everyday essentials you’ll need for your planner. You might have some of these on hand, or you may need to pick them up. I have some, but not all of these planner essentials, but I will have them ALL in the next week or so… cause you never know when you’ll need them!

White Out – because nobody is perfect!
Corner Punch – for when you make your own dashboards or inserts.
Paper Cutter/Slicer – handy for cutting out the digital printables and stickers
Printable Sticker Sheets – I always keep a few of these on hand because I’m constantly finding free printable stickers or digital sets I just HAVE to have!
Laminator and Pouches – I want to make my own Happy Planner covers and durable inserts, so this laminator is in my amazon cart, just waiting for pay day 🙂
Happy Planner Punch – One of the best purchases I’ve made since I became a #planneraddict! I use it to add printables, notes and just about anything else paper to my planner!
And of course nice pens (LOVE these), a ruler and some highlighters (these are ERASABLE!) are always a must have!
