The Summer of 2013 I enjoyed picking fresh flowers every week and arranging them into my tall Grace & Gratitude vase! Even the falling petals and the spilled water was beautiful and I saw it as God’s gifts! And then, we had the long hard winter of 2014. My heart longed for flowers! I was shopping one day when it dawned on me to buy some flowers that would last forever. I did! Now, my kitchen has a POP of yellow Roses and a red Splendid Bush stick in my Grace & Gratitude pitcher set! Now, I have HOPE for summer days again, my friends!
Flowers don’t worry about how the’re going to bloom. They just open up and turn toward the light and that makes them beautiful. ~Jim Carrey
Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made, and forgot to put a soul into. ~Henry Beecher, Life Thoughts, 1858

My mother has silk flower arrangements all over her house. My brother and I were allergic to real flowers, so that was the next best thing,

I have a mix of fake + real flowers and plants in my apartment! I have a gorgeous bouquet of fake hydrangeas right next to my real cactus!

Very pretty! I love that pitcher! Fresh flowers are one of my favs for inside, but they aren't always practical.

I love fresh flowers but they're so expensive to buy and there's nowhere around me that I can pick them (and not get in trouble, ahahaha). I buy fake flowers for this reason but mine are from the dollar store and look pretty cheap. I should invest in some more realistic ones 🙂
