They Aren’t So Little Anymore!

My boys are getting so big! Seriously! It seems like just yesterday I was bringing these two characters home 🙂 Remember when they were this little? My itty-bitty-wittle #MonsterKittens! Well they aren’t that little anymore! In fact they’re almost a year old and that means its time to switch them from kitten food to something more substantial… but not just any cat food will do, these boys get only the very best dry cat food 🙂

When it comes to food for my babies, and yes they’re pretty much my children, I’m picky. I won’t feed them just any old cat food. These boys can be particular about certain things, food being at the top of the list. When I first brought Tang and Bliss home, we had an interesting first couple days… The lady that rescued them and gave them to me, told me the wrong brand of food… if you have ever had cats, you know how problematic that can be! There were lots of baths, butt washes and wet kittens that first week! But I wouldn’t change any of it for the world!

I never knew I was a “cat person” until these 2 came into my life! Now I wouldn’t give them up for anything! They’re definitely characters and have very distinct personalities, quirks and idiosyncrasies.

Bliss (the grey one) Is totally chill… love snuggles and likes to be ON ME at all times. Bliss will take any chance to “bop” his brother on the head and put him in his place. He loves to climb as high as he possibly can, and would nap in my fabric hutch all day long if I’d let him.

Tang (the orange furball) acts like a tough guy, but is definitely a “Scardy Cat”! Loves to snuggle, as long as its on his terms and he can be quite demanding about it. His favorite pastime is annoying his brother or trying to trip me. And as you can see (above) he’s a little, shall we say, “quirky”!

Ok… they’re both quirky!

But they keep me sane with hubby on the road. They snuggle with me all night long. They keep me laughing and entertained all day long. Its safe to say I’d be a little lost with out these two goofs in my life!
