Hey Galentine, Hey!!
I’ve said it before, I can pretty much garuntee that I’ll say it again, Valentine’s is one of my favorite days! For so many reasons, and most of them have nothing to do with lovey-dovey romantic stuff.
I think I love it so much becuase its an opportunity to celebrate the people in your life that mean something to you. I usually try to send off little love notes and packages to my friends (I failed last year, but will be trying again this year!) as a way to show a little love. I also love the opportunity to shop small and support fellow makers!
As a maker, this time of year can be a challenge… we’re post Holiday rush and the orders have pretty much dried up. But we still have bills to play, supplies to replenish and inventory to make. So if you can, support a small shop this Valentine’s and spread a little Shop Small Love! Now onto those gift ideas…
