The latter half of last week was pretty chill… this week so far, not so much. Hubby is coming home a little later today, and I’m finishing up custom orders that need to go in the mail today 🙂 But you know me… I’m at my most productive when the pressure is on 🙂 Fortunately my MIL doesn’t mind helping out and my house is much cleaner today than it was yesterday 🙂
Instead of doing the things that I should have been doing, I made a couple mug cozies… and now I’m sort of hooked! I want to make cozies for all my mugs! I’m having so much fun making these that I’m gonna share the pattern! That way your can join in on the mug cozy fun too! Pop by tomorrow for the free pattern 🙂
I’ve got some more vintage sheet projects on my brain and an order for a quilt… so I’ve been playing a little bit 🙂 This is only about half of my stash… There is still a whole bunch of vintage sheet goodness tucked into a few random bins and corners. I’m hoping to gather them all together and get these beauties organized, folded and stacked prettily in my fabric hutch 🙂
Tang likes to be a “helpful” kitten when ever he can get close enough. Usually he just lays as close to me as possible and watches as I stitch… this time he decided to get hands… errr… paws on 🙂 The little monster! 😀
A couple weeks of go I signed up for the Mug’o’Love swap. On Monday I got my package from Kaylee and I am sooo in love with my mug!! I love that the inside is so unique! And that coffee is delicious! There was a third package of cappuccino mix… but I mixed it up and enjoyed it on the back porch before I remembered to take a picture! Opps! It was quite yummy!
The next couple of days will be all about hanging with my hubby, stitching up the last custom orders, crocheting some more mug cozies and relaxing. Its going to be heavenly! 🙂
