The Market Weekend!

Well folks, let me tell you, it was a crazy, busy weekend! But I had a TON of fun! And that makes all the late nights and early mornings worth it ๐Ÿ™‚ Saturday and Sunday were looooonnnggggg days, but I had pretty good results. Despite some craziness with figuring out how I was going to set up and what I was going to use for displays, I was able to come up with a pretty good booth layout. I’ve got lots of pictures for ya ๐Ÿ™‚

I had planned on building a tri-folding wall type thing to display my hoops on… but I wasn’t able to get the wood and build it on time. So I borrowed this wall type thing from the sunday school at my church ๐Ÿ™‚ It worked perfectly! I just added some command hooks and added all the lovely hoops ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve had the wire shelving rack for a while, and it was perfect on top of the table at the front of my corner booth. I mixed different products to draw people in and hopefully catch their eye.

I had an old book shelf at home that I used for the opposite front corner. Adding height to displays helps create interest too!

This is the the whole booth from the front side. This is the direction most of the traffic was coming from.

A closer view of the “wall” I displayed all the hoops on. These were great for starting conversations with potential customers, but not the most popular item of the day. Thats ok… it means I’ll have lots of new things to add to the shop!

This was another attention grabbing point of interest. The hexi quilt added bright pops of color and drew lots of eyes. People seemed to like the “State Home” pillows as well.

The backside of the wire shelving was the perfect place to pin the embroidered zippy pouches. I sold several of these guys ๐Ÿ™‚ You can also see some of the Ouchie Owls I had available. These by far were the most popular item of the day ๐Ÿ™‚

All in all it was a fun, busy, successful weekend!

I’m sorting through the things I still have on hand and deciding what to put in the shop. New things will be listed by friday ๐Ÿ™‚ And I will definitely be having a sale in the next 2 weeks so stay tuned for more details!

Wow! I think you did a really good job! I like how you set all your stuff up! And by the way I am in love with your mustache pillows!
