I was in a bit of a funk these past few weeks. Mostly it was health related… I was just so dang exhausted. Exhausted. All. The. Time. So as a result of my pure exhaustion, I didn’t finish the project I wanted to blog about today… instead you are getting some randomness! Oh and Kitten pictures! You’re Welcome! 😉
What is it about the Monster Kittens? They LOVE not only being in my face, but ON my face as well! They’re such weirdos! Cute weirdos, but weirdos none the less!
Fun Fact: Someone said “irregardless” while we were chatting on facebook yesterday… I couldn’t help myself… I yelled “IRREGARDLESS IS NOT A WORD” at my computer. I may have freaked out my cats.
This is my niece Abby wearing one of the hats I made and sent her for Christmas 🙂 I’m pretty sure she is the cutest thing on the planet… although I may be just a tad biased.
Tang loves to help. Especially when it comes to my crochet projects. This is his idea of “helping”… I call them “Monster Kittens” for a reason… and with all the love in my heart 🙂 Of course like any good kitten mom I had to take a picture of the goofball before I took the yarn out of his mouth :S
One of the things I’m focusing on this year is Growth for my blog and shop. I’ve been devouring everything I can find about blogging, running small business, marketing and growth. Is there a tutorial you love, pinterest board you have/follow, or bloggers that talk about these things? I’d love it if you’d share a link in the comments! I want to learn all I can!
My sister Emily (Abby’s Mom) and I, are just a little obsessed with the WWE … but only a leeeeeetle bit 😀 Texts like this are fairly common on Monday and Friday nights. Oh what exciting lives we lead… *snort*

My husband gives me such a hard time about still watching WWE. LOL. I record it on the DVR and watch it while I'm puttering around on Saturday morning cleaning and waiting for my baby girl to wake up. And yes, sometimes on Monday night I'm sure my neighbors think someone is killing me or I'm watching football the way I yell at the tv.
Oh man! I'm sure my husband thinks I'm nuts… When he's on the road he knows not to call me on Monday nights between 7 and 10 pm. LOL Since he's been home he has graciously put up with my demands for the remote on mondays and fridays! 😀

My not-kittens-anymore fur children are fascinated with thread when I sew and actively try to eat the thread while I'm using it. Really helpful.

Hats are pretty simple if you can crochet in a circle 🙂 I bet there are youtube tutorials you could use to learn!

I’m working on starting a blog, so I’ve been reading a ton of random posts about blogging. This one below from The Dwelling Tree really stood out to me. I’ve read a lot about the need for good content, but she defines it really well. Basically it’s that we are all looking for posts that are useful and/or entertaining, and easy to read. It’s giving me a good guide as I write my first posts.

OMG!!!!! People at work say irregardless all the time and I SWEAR TO YOU!!!!! MY EYEBALL TWITCHES!!!! It drives me insane!
I would still have my kitties if my son were not allergic to them.. sighs. They live outside now and are just as rotten as they were inside. Though they prefer the outside over in any day.. One of mine had a thing for licking peoples hair on their heads. We don't know why but he would lay behind you on the couch and just lick at your hair. So I totally get the weirdo feline thing
My cats are crazy little critters and do the strangest things. Like right now, the fat one is half hanging off the couch but apparently that's a comfotable sleeping position.
