I remember singing this song (many times) through out my years of Christmas Choirs. Practicing over and over and over again. Yet it seemed, that no matter how many times we sang it, it never failed to bring a smile to my face every time

I’d meet the glance of a fellow choir member. Its just one of those happy, cheerful, joy filled songs (especially in 6 part harmony!)… that you can’t get out of your head once its in there!

And while this “musical” version of the song might seem a little hokey (ok a LOT hokey), it brings back so many memories of performances in full Victorian costume, hours spent dancing around in hoop skirts and so much laughter.  Good times I tell ya!

Even if I was one of the geeky musical kids, back before that was a cool thing.

I wouldn’t trade those days for anything. They developed a love for theater and storytelling that runs deep, and is a part of what made me who I am today!

I’ve currently got this Most Wonderful Time of the Year holiday printable hanging next to my desk. Its the perfect reminder for those crazy, stressful, I-wish-it-was-January-already moments.
