Little Things Like Breakfast

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Honey Bunches of Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.

Back at the beginning of the year I talked about the things I wanted to focus on, establishing a better routine was at the top of the list. For wayyy too long I’ve just kind of flown by the seat of my pants throughout the day, but not any more! I’m taking back my day, and I’m starting with actually eating breakfast!!

The Best Way to start the day is with a protein packed breakfast! #morningenergy

It seems like such a little thing doesn’t it? Eating breakfast? It doesn’t have to be a big deal, but it does have to be nutritious and provide lots of energy! I’ve been adding Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy cereal to the start of my day, and I am definitely noticing a difference!

Little Things Lead to Big Things

I have so much more energy! And no need for a nap either! I know, I know! I’m 30 years old… I shouldn’t need a nap to make it to the end of the day…. but come on! When I skip breakfast and the only thing I’m consuming is coffee before noon, I crash by 12:30 and I crash hard! But not any more!

Now the toughest part of my morning is deciding which of the two delicious flavors I want! Some mornings I just. need. chocolate. so I go with Chocoaltely Almond Crunch. Other days I want something a little sweet and spicy and Cinnamon Crunch is the perfect answer. When Hubby is home he tends to go for Chocolatey Almond crunch… we’ve tussled over the cereal box a few times 😉 Did I mention that this cereal is full of flavor and is just plain yummy?

I rarely ate breakfast in high school or college (how one earth did I get good grades with that routine?!) Thanks to a health condition, I have to eat breakfast (and lunch and dinner) at close to the same time every day. Weekday mornings are usually so hectic that I go the breakfast shake route but weekends are so much more flexible. Honey Bunches of Oats are tasty cereals, I particularly enjoy the ones with cinnamon in them.

As a college student, I barely have time to eat breakfast and end up snacking throughout the day. Eating a healthy cereal like this would probably be MUCH better for me!!

I'm with Danielle about the college kid and breakfast. Lately, I've been better about eating breakfast and I alternate between cereal and toast. Cereal is just so yummy!

These are on my grocery list! I have a hard time remembering/making time to grab breakfast before I run out the door. I've made a habit of keeping breakfast foods in the kitchen at work so I never have an excuse for skipping breakfast!

Breakfast is an important part of the day that a lot of people forget. I know on days that I forget to eat breakfast I don't get as much accomplished 🙂

I've noticed that I've been crashing hard and napping daily as well. Looks like I need to start eating breakfast!
