Literary Junkies – November

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

Time for another episode of the Literary Junkies! I’ve missed the last couple months, but then again I’ve barely had any time to do any reading! Things around here have been pretty crazy and busy!

1. What are you reading right now? Tell us about it. I’m about 3 pages into the Art Forger, this months pick, so I don’t really have much to say about it just yet 🙂   I’m also about 1/3 of the way through “A Big Sky Christmas” by William W. Johnstone. I love reading books that have a little bit of  Holiday plot this time of year. There is something about snuggling up with a mug of hot chocolate and a book that incorporates Christmas and family, that I love!
2. Now that we’re coming up to the holidays, are there any books you like to return to or remind you of childhood? I usually read Redeeming Love
by Francine Rivers. The copy I have is one that my Mom gave to me when I was just 16. I’ve read it over, and over and over again… in case you couldn’t tell 😉
My Copy of Redeeming Love - well worn, well loved
3. Do you have any new books on your wishlist? Winter, the latest book in the Lunar Chronicles! It was just released in the past few weeks and I am really looking forward to January when I have a chance to do a lot more reading!
4. Favorite book you’ve ever received as a gift? My Nana gave me all kinds of Nancy Drew books when I was grown up, those are definitely the most precious.
5. Favorite book centered around the holidays? I don’t really have an “Holiday” book… I just like to read. Anything. Everything. All the time! Or, when I actually have the time.

I’m reading Mary Jo Putney’s The Last Chance Christmas Ball right now, which is a collection of stories loosely linked together by this planned ball by a bunch of different writers. I’m enjoying it!
