Avocado and Pistachio Protein Shake Recipe

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

I’ve been playing around with protein shake recipes lately. I’ve had a bit of a love/hate relationship with the shaklee protein shake mix… I love the results, but kinda hate the texture. I’ve finally found a recipe that takes care of my textural issues! Woot Woot! Introducing my new favorite Avocado and Pistachio Protein Shake Recipe!

I love the taste of pistachio pudding and the health benefits of avocado… so I decided to try combining them with my shake mix and almond milk!

All you have to do is combine the ingredients (in order listed) in a blender, add 1/2 a cup of ice and blend until smooth! Simply delicious and of course “green” 🙂

So now I take my favorite shake, a cup of coffee and start my morning off on the back porch or my favorite reading nook. And of course I’m seeing some weight and inch loss because I’m drinking the shaklee shakes.

Oh and if you’re counting calories, the whole shake is about 420. Not bad at all! If you take out the avocado its about 300… yes the avocado adds a bunch more calories, but the creaminess helps with the shake texture. 🙂 I’m so glad that I’ve discovered a way to drink my shakes that I love!

Thanks Jennifer, this shake looks great – particularly like the pistachio. The ripe banana must sweeten it up quite a bit too
