Easy DIY’s – I am DEFINITELY a fan! Especially with my husband home and fighting a nasty flu/virus for the last week. Projects that are quick and easy have been at the top of my to do list, and honestly, it doesn’t get any quicker or simpler than this easy fabric wreath!

All you need for this fun and easy fabric wreath is some strips of fabric and a wreath form. And if you REALLY want to make this wreath even easier, you can get the strips of fabric already cut 2.5 inches wide in the form of a “jelly roll”!

My MIL got this jelly roll of fabric for me about 3 years ago… while I appreciated the gesture, I wasn’t in love with the patterns. When I decided I needed a more summery wreath on the door and came up with this knotted fabric idea, I knew EXACTLY what fabric to use!

How to make your own easy fabric wreath:

Unroll the jelly roll and cut the strips in half. If you’re not using a jelly roll, you want fabric strips that are 20 -22 inches in length and 2.5 inches wide.

Take the strip of fabric wrong side up and slip it under the wreath form. pull the 2 side up and tie a double knot. Twist the ends so the right side of the fabric is visible. Repeat all the way around until the entire wreath form is covered.

Trim the ends of the knotted fabric pieces to your desired length.

I would love to do this with vintage fabrics or even something customizable for a kids room.
