101 Handmade Days: Easy DIY Mason Jar Pin Cushion + DIY T-Shirt Crafts Book Review

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

Y’all probably figured out that I am a fan of easy projects and I’m a fan of upcycling things I already have around the home. Combining the two is one of my favorite ways to get crafty! When I was given the opportunity to review my blogging pal Adrianne’s brand new DIY book, I jumped at the chance!! I’ve even made on of the projects already and I gotta tell you, I’m loving this easy DIY mason jar pincushion!!

Adrianne blogs over at Happy Hour Projects and we’ve been bloggy pals for years! I totally squealed in joy on her behalf when I heard of her book project… and maybe a teeny bit of jealousy 😉 How cool is it that crafty bloggers are having the chance to become authors?!?!?

This easy DIY mason jar pin cushion really was EASY! I used some hot glue & a glue gun instead of fabric glue since that is what I had on hand.

The directions for this easy DIY mason jar pin cushion were very clear and easy to understand, and this project took less than 15 minutes to make! It took me longer to decide which t-shirt I wanted to cut up and use!

About the author:
Adrianne Surian is a west Michigan mom of 2 who’s been crafting long since before it was cool.  She founded Happy Hour Projects in 2011 as a way of sharing hour-or-less crafts, accessories, and recipes with other busy people who want to add some creativity to their days.  Her philosophy of “use what you have” when crafting prompted her to explore the versatility of t-shirts, and fifty projects later, DIY T-Shirt Crafts was published by Adams Media.

For those of us non-sewing types, it would still make cute storage!
