Yarn Wrapped Valentines Wreath

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

Nothing says its time for a new wreath on the front door like Valentines! I finally pulled the Christmas wreath off the door and replaced it with this fun and pink yarn wrapped valentines wreath! Of course my husband is not a fan of all the pink-ness, but he’ll just have to deal 😉

Yarn wrapping a wreath can be a little bit time consuming, but I definitely think its worth it! Adding in the crocheted flowers and mini heart bunting, make it pretty much perfect!

To wrap this valentines wreath, I used Red Heart Yarn in White and Baby Pink.

For the crocheted flowers I used Red Heart Yarn in White, Baby Pink, and Blush Pink. I used Petels to Picots free crochet Rose Pattern to make these beauties. They crochet up super fast once you’ve to the hang of it. I love this simple pattern so much, I’m trying to come up with other valentines-y ways to use them around the house 🙂

For the Mini Heart Bunting, I cut 4 1.5 inch hearts out of pink and white polka dot fabric scraps and stitched across the top with a 3/4 inch gap between.

Despite my husband not being a fan of all the pink-ness that is now hanging on the front door, I think its perfect!

Pink and just a little bit girly, its a Perfect Valentines Wreath! #DIY #Craft

When you make a new wreath, do you start from scratch with new everything or do you recycle from your previous wreath?

Depends on the wreath. Sometimes I start from scratch, other times I add to one I already have 🙂
