After returning from Antique Alley and all the insanity leading up to it… I’ve had a bit of a slow week. A much needed, very deserved, totally enjoyed slow week 🙂 I did do a few things, mostly in the past couple of days…

Hats I'm working on... - busybeingjennifer.com

I haven’t had a chance to get pictures organized and my act together enough to get this years hats listed in the shop… but that hasn’t stopped people from ordering! Plus I am working on having a bunch ready for the next second monday market thats happening in a week and a half! So far I’ve got 20+ hats just waiting for faces or bows… thats the goal for the rest of this week 🙂

a whole bunch of half square triangles - busybeingjennifer.com Bits and scraps left from a little fun sewing - busybeingjennifer.com

I had an urge to sew over the weekend. And despite the fact that my husband was home, some major sewing was done 😀 I got a whole bunch of half square triangles finished! I haven’t decided if the blocks I have in mind will be turned into totes or into a quilt… I guess I’ll have to wait until once I have some blocks put together to decide 🙂

I might have to pick the hubby up from work tonight… if I’m lucky I’ll get him for a day or so before he has to hit the road again. So I’ll be doing lots of hat finishing over the next few days! Can’t wait to check some of these off my to do list!

Cut fabric swatches. That pile of scraps would be great for kids craft projects too.

I love the hats! I'm always so in awe of people who can sew and stuff like that. Maybe one day…

You are so productive, even during slow weeks. I envy that! And I can't wait to see your goodies! I need some sewing enthusiasm, myself.
