Can you believe that its actually Wednesday again? Is it just me or does time seem to be flying faster and faster lately? I felt Like I was more productive this week… I guess I had to be with so many ouchie owls to make!
How cute is the ouchie owl? I named her Addison… and she didn’t even last 24 hours in the shop! 😀
My good friend Shelli is celebrating her birthday this week and she’s been kind enough to offer to host our 4th of july celebrations 🙂 I whipped up a zippy for her (She LOVES zippies!!) and a fun party banner (more on that tomorrow!)

I’m super excited about something I get to do today!!! Shelli, yes the good friend that is celebrating her Birthday, has one of those BIG long arm quilting machines and I get to learn how to use it today! I’m going to practice first on one of m older quilt tops and then I’ll be quilting one I just finished for a friend. Can’t wait to share about the experience, show off pictures of the process and the final projects 🙂
Well, I’m off to do a few chores and then I get to head to Shelli’s for some quilty fun 🙂 What are you up to today?

You absolutely must show off the long arm experience. There's a place in North Austin that you can come and rent time on theirs. I really want to learn so I can use it but I am so intimidated!
I love the owl one! I'm really loving the burlap these days too! Can't wait to see them when they are finished!
