Works in Progress

Thisย post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosureย here.

Time for another look at the things I’ve been {slowly} working on ๐Ÿ™‚ This last week hasn’t had a ton of progress… I’m working through som major stress and a mild flare up which leads to me pretty much being exhausted all of the time… so I’m taking it easy while I can ๐Ÿ™‚

I have made some progress on the Mini Quilt that I’m making for a swap.

Mini Quilt Swap Design

My secret partner love vintage or vintage reproduction type fabrics in low-key prints. She’s not a fan of modern fabrics, but doesn’t mind modern designs if they’re done in the colors/fabric style she likes. Lucky for me I have lots of vintage fabrics and only needed to add a few options to what I was able to pull from my own stash. Still, this is a bit outside of my comfort zone. But that’s a good thing right? Now I just need to get the fabrics cut and get to work on this! I think its going to be quite awesome when I’m finished! ๐Ÿ™‚

Head Band for #pinkeverydayinoctober project

While I had the glue gun out last week to make my Painted Burlap Flower Fall Wreath, I also whipped up a head band and a few flower pins in pinks so I would have something new to wear during the last days of #PinkEveryDayInOctober. I was sporting this one last week, and it might make an appearance on instagram again soon ๐Ÿ™‚

tried to get some blogging done...

Knowing that the next 6ish weeks are going to be pretty busy and maybe just a little stressful, I’ve been trying to get blog posts written and scheduled in advance… but that’s a little hard to do when a 18 week old kitten this cute wants to “help”! They’ve both been rather “helpful” of late, but more on that in another post coming soon. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Of course I’ve also been trying to work on adding more stock to my inventory for the holiday markets and craft show I have coming up. Lots of crocheted hats, stitched zippies and some custom items have been worked on this week. I’ve got a bunch of custom name zippies to make this week too! Hoping to add them to the shop before the weekend.

I’m off to go make more things… What are you up to on this fine fall Wednesday?

Okay, I was totally fixated on the pink head band, and then scrolled down to the kitty on your desk and got totally caught up in that! Thanks for the smile!

How fun! Ah, your kitten problem is adorable. ๐Ÿ˜€

I've been trying to teach myself crochet…and it's going slowly. There's never enough time for crafting, is there? Or if you have some system for ensuring regular crafting time for yourself, I would love to hear it!

I've started breaking my to do list up into categories… Blog, Shop, Projects, Life and House… I give my self time limits to work on each section of the list and when the times up, I move on to the next thing! Its the only way to make sure that I'm getting enough time for inventory and the fun things I like to work on ๐Ÿ™‚
