The Song that is on Repeat

Things have been a little crazy around here lately… and quite stressful. I don’t often talk about my faith on this blog, but most of you know I’m a christian, go to church and pray. Lately, more than ever I’ve been going to the Lord in prayer. There is no other way to deal with the things that are going on. Talking to friends, relieves the stress momentarily… but there is nothing they can do to fix the problem. So I go to the ONE who knows my heart, knows exactly what I need and can deliver without fail.

This song more than any other has been on repeat. It pretty much says it all.

And though I’m silent, my heart is crying.

God I need you more than words can say.

Father I’m in a desperate place.

You know my heart, You know my need, You know every part of me…

Those words have become my prayer. And then when words fail me, I speak His name.

In these moments, these desperate moments where the future is so cloudy, Life is messy and I feel oh so lost, all I can do is pray.

I don't know you, but I will say a prayer for you. And as my best friends mom used to say,
"He knows, he loves he cares, and when we need Him, He is always there."
Peace be unto you sweet lady. 🙂

LOVE that song! Another song that always gets me is Jars Of Clay, Worlds Apart it's an old one but it gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it.

Oh wow! I hadn't actually hard that song before and, it is just what I needed! Thank you so much for sharing Jennifer! My prayers are certainly with you! I know how it is to not know what to do and just turn to God. Because He certainly knows what to do!! Praise be to God!
