Living in a small town with only a couple of mexican restaurants can be a total drag. So any excuse to “make an escape” and head to the city is fine by me! When I found out I had the chance to head to P.F. Chang’s and check out some of the awesome new stuff on their menu, Carrie (from the Bitsy Button) and I hit the road! We both need a girls afternoon!Β Fun with Carrie! - BusyBeingJennifer.com

Amazing Food from PF Changs - BusyBeingJennifer.com

Let me tell you… The food was Ah-Mazing! I’d obsessed over P.F. Chang’s New Small Plates Menu,Β trying to decide which of the awesome new things I wanted to try from the minute we made our plans.Β IΒ was torn betweenΒ a few of the items on the new menu – the Jimica Pork Tacos, the Saigon Summer Rolls and the Edamame Hummus, Β just sounded so good. Fortunately for me, Carrie wanted to try the hummus, and our awesome waiter Austin told us he LOVED the tacos. So that’s what I went with! We shared of course, and let me tell you, that hummus is Delish! Β For entrees, Carrie had a tofu stir fry (she’s vegan and this was the perfect thing for her!) and I went with the Lemon Chicken. SO FLIPPING GOOD!

Austin, our fantastic server at PF Changs - BusyBeingJennifer.com

This is Austin. This guy was the BOMB dot com. Seriously. The over all service was great, but Austin is easily one of the best, most attentive waiters I’ve had in a long time. Now maybe its the small town living that makes me a little more aware… but what ever the reason, Austin definitely stood out with his friendly, informative manner and his willingness to make sure we had everything and anything we could want or need. Way to go Austin! πŸ˜€

Delicious Red Sangria at PF Changs - BusyBeingJennifer.com

I was so excited to try the Red Sangria with dinner… it was almost like getting dessert at the beginning! Sweet and fruity with just the right amount of wine, it was perfect for an afternoon lunch with a friend.

We got Latte's to Go! Yummy!! - BusyBeingJennifer.com

Before we left we had to try the latte’s to go. Yummy. Yummy. YUMMY! I absolutely loved the Vietnamese Cinnamon Iced Latte. Like to the point that I would just order a latte from P.F. Chang’s and on a regular basis if there was one just a little closer! I don’t know why I never thought that cinnamon and coffee should go together… but I might just have a new obsession!

A nice relaxing girls lunch out of town was EXACTLY what I needed to get my head in the right space to be super productive today, the excellent service and scrumptious food was just the icing on the proverbial cake! πŸ™‚

If you’re looking to experience something new and a little different, I highly recommend heading to P.F. Chang’s to check out the awesome new menu items!Β Starting this Wednesday (July 23, 2014) they’re starting “Sushi, Small Bites and Wine Flights”! Try perfectly matched wine with a great dish is a great start to a memorable experience. You’re gonna Love Wednesday’s at P.F. Chang’s!

When was the last time you had outstanding customer service? Or a lunch with a friend? Or both!?!?! πŸ™‚

I love P.F. Chang's! One of my favorite places. We have several around our Dallas neighborhood.

Oh that cinnamon latte! I love PJ Changs but we don't go often enough. It's not around the corner from us but when we go the c/s is always great! I remember one waiter went out of the way to give our girls some 'quiet' fruit until the meal came out… and extra fortune cookies!

We love PF Changs but it's a little bit of a drive. Pei Wei's around the corner, so we eat there all the time.
