Salsa Verde Pulled Chicken Nachos

When I first moved to Texas, I had NO idea just how seriously people here take their salsa and picante sauce. In the last 6 years I’ve gotten a bit of an education, and now consider myself fully addicted. In this house, there is ONLY one option when it comes to salsa and picante, and that choice is Pace®. It’s an everyday staple, and Pace® Salsa Verde is the not-so-secret ingredient in these spicy and bold Salsa Verde Pulled Chicken Nachos!

Salsa Verde Pulled Chicken Nachos Ingredients:

3-4 chicken breasts (raw or frozen)
Pace® Salsa Verde Medium 24 oz.
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 Tblsp taco seasoning
Favorite Nacho Toppings – We added fresh diced tomatoes, cheese sauce, and chopped green onion.
Favorite Nacho Chips

You’ll find everything you need for these Nachos in your local Walmart!

Salsa Verde Pulled Chicken Nachos Recipe:

Add your chicken to your slow cooker. Sprinkle seasonings over top.

Add 1 cup of Pace® Salsa Verde to top of chicken.

Cover and cook in your slow cooker. 4 hours on High or 6 hours on low. (give an extra hour if your chicken was frozen)

When the chicken is fall apart tender. Remove from slow cooker.

Allow to partially cool. Shred with a fork or your fingers.

Now it’s time to dive into that goodness!! In our house we just assemble a big plate of nachos topped without favorites and some Pace®, either the 24 oz. Pace® Salsa Verde or the 24 oz. Pace® Picante Sauce depending on what sort of mood we’re in! We know that a little Pace® packs a WHOLE lot of bold flavor! Seriously! This stuff is good on just about everything!

This pulled chicken recipe would be the perfect meat option for a “build your own” nacho’s station when you’re entertaining this football season too! Just set everything out, including your favorite Pace® products and let your guests do the rest! They won’t be disappointed with this Salsa Verde Pulled Chicken Nachos recipe, and neither will you!

Pace® has an Ibotta® offer available at Walmart! Earn $0.50 cash back with Ibotta® when you purchase a jar of Pace®! (Offer is valid on any ONE (1) 15 oz. or larger Pace® Salsa or Pace® Picante Sauce.)

How are you going to ban the bland with Pace®? Get recipe inspiration here.

I use this exact Salsa verde to make a slow cooker chicken that is great over rice. Yours definitely looks like a quick and easy weeknight meal. I will have to give this variation to try.
