No Churn Pistachio Ice Cream Recipe
Is there anything more delicious on a hot summers day than a scoop (or three) of your favorite ice cream? Yes. Yes there is! Homemade ice cream, especially a tasty no churn recipe definitely tops that store bought stuff any day!

I’m a huge fan of making my own ice creams, less checmicals and adatives, more flavor and I get to control just how sweet it is too. This No Churn Pistachio Ice Cream Recipe has become one of my favorites this summer! Even the picky-eater of a hubby approves!

Before I moved to Texas, my ice cream making experience was pretty limited. My MIL introduced me to her homemade peach ice cream ( I really need to share that recipe here at some point) and my summers were forever changed! While I enjoy a scoop or 2 of the store bought stuff (especially bluebell!) from time to time, there’s really no going back!

If you’re a fan of Pistachio pudding, this No Churn Pistachio Ice Cream Recipe is going to be your new favorite thing!

No Churn Pistachio Ice Cream Ingredients:

2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream

1 14 oz Can Evaporated Milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp pistachio extract

1 bag of unshelled pistachio

1/2 of a 3 oz box of instant pistachio pudding

No Churn Pistachio Ice Cream Instructions:

In a bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.

In a second bowl, combine the evaporated milk and instant pistachio pudding.

Add pistachio extract and vanilla extract to evaporated milk combination.  Stir until incorporated.

Add the unshelled pistachio and mix.

Fold the pistachio mixture into the whipping cream.

Pour half of the mixture into a metal loaf pan. Sprinkle a layer of pistachios and top with the rest of the ice cream mixture.

Cover and freeze for at least 6 hours.  I usually freeze mine overnight to be sure.

Then scoop and enjoy!

I love serving my favorite no churn ice creams in a waffle bowl… all the flavor of a waffle cone, with none of the mess! AND it makes adding toppings that much easier! Your summers will never be the same once you’ve gotten hooked on making your own no churn ice creams!

This No Churn Pistachio Ice Cream Recipe is sure to become a favorite this summer!
