There’s no better way to beat a heat wave than with a delicious, cool treat like this no churn cookies and cream ice cream recipe!
It’s Summer time, and the living is HOT HOT HOT! Partly because I live in Texas, but also partly because the whole planet is dealing with record breaking heat waves.
The best way to beat the summer heat is a cool treat of course and my favorite to make lately has become this no churn cookies and cream ice cream recipe!
Ready to whip up a fresh batch of your own no churn cookies and cream ice cream to enjoy?
Ingredients –
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- ½ of a 3 oz package of vanilla pudding mix
- 1 package of Oreos – crushed. We like ours super heavy on the cookies part so we used a little over half of the package
Instructions –
In a bowl, pour 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and whip until stiff peaks begin to form. (A mixer is totally useful for this, but you can do it by hand if you don’t have one!)
In a separate bowl, pour in 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Add 1 tbsp vanilla and the vanilla pudding. Mix well. Add in some crushed Oreo cookies and mix. Pour this mix into the whipped cream, and stir gently.
In a metal loaf pan, pour about half of the mixture. Add a layer of crushed oreos, and then top with the remaining ice cream mixture.
Sprinkle the top with the remaining crushed Oreos.
Cover with press and seal or plastic wrap and freeze for 24 hours.
Then all that’s left to do is enjoy!
This no churn, soft serve ice cream is the perfect treat for beating these 100 degree heat waves! And its so good, it disappears pretty quickly around here, so you may want to make a double batch 😉
