My Favorite Christmas Song (Part 2)

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

Every year, starting in November, my Mom would pull out the Christmas records (yes RECORDS!). The first one she always played was “Christmas with the Judds”  and the next album was always “Come On, Ring Those Bells” by Evie Tornquist. More than a few family “Christmas Concerts” were held with the songs from those 2 records. And even now if I hear one of those songs, memories come flooding back and I seriously doubt I’ll ever forget the words!

My favorite “traditional” Christmas song is one that the Judds covered on their Christmas album, but being the old soul that I am, I prefer Bing Crosby’s rendition 🙂

And yes, I do play this song as well as White Christmas and Carol of the Bells over and over. Pretty sure my hubby is about to go Crazy from all the Christmas music that I refuse to turn off!

Silver bells…. la la la… hmm hmmm hmmm…. ring-a-ling…

Whats your favorite traditional Christmas song?

I love them all, but my new fav is Ceelo singing Mary Did You Know. Have you heard it? Brought me to my knees. Incredible.

I love just about any version of "What Child Is This?" – it's such a beautiful song 🙂 I've heard all kinds of renditions, from classical "Greensleeves" presentation, to a blue-sy, jazzy kind of sound from BarlowGirl. Good stuff!

I loooove Silver Bells! Actually, I don't think there's a single Christmas song that I don't like. This is my favorite time of year BY FAR!!!!

Ahhh records, I remember my parents playing Christmas records when I was little. Such sweet memories. Christmas music is one of the things I love most about this time of year.
