Oh what a weekend! If you follow me or my shop on instagram you would have seen a couple of posts about the Holiday Festival I was set up at this weekend in McKinney. It Was AMAZING! Carrie, from The Bitsy Button, and I split a vendor booth at the event and we had a Blast!

Fun Times at McKinney Texas' Home for the Holidays Festival! - BusyBeingJennifer.com

There was everything from ice skating to face painting to photos with Santa and amazing live music! We met amazing people, made new friends had TONS of customers and pretty much sold out ! I only had a handful of hats to pack up saturday night! Carrie’s infinity scarves and little girls crocheted purses with a hit too!

We had a rough idea on how we wanted to set up before we arrived and our plan worked out perfectly! With lots of colors and visual interest we were getting lots of customers right from the very beginning. We were on Kentucky St. Just across from Spoons Cafe Garage (AMAZING Coffee and food! We ate there all weekend long!) We had a trampoline crew and a rock wall in our immediate vicinity and that definitely drew a lot of families to our area.

There was so much to see and do. Both Carrie and I snuck away a few times to get glimpses of the fun, but we couldn’t leave our booth for too long! We were told they were expecting around 15,000 people and I would be surprised if there wasn’t way more than that! I think one of my favorite parts of the weekend was when Emerald City played friday night! They were amazing!!

If you live in the McKinney area I Highly recommend you visit Downtown McKinney’s Home for the Holidays next year. Even if you don’t live close… Be There!! Carrie and I are definitely planning on going next year and we’re already working on our inventory strategy!

It looks like you had such a fun time and beautiful weather too. Your crochet hats and scarfs are beautiful.
