Looking for Ideas to make Mother’s Day Special for the Moms in your life? Thanks to some amazing partners, I was able to put together a fun afternoon of wine, treats and flowers! It was the perfect way to celebrate Motherhood, friendships and spend some time with a couple amazing women!

Make Mother's Day Special with these Easy Celebration Ideas

Motherhood is not an easy thing. Its so important to have a group of amazing women around you that can help support and encourage you as you go through this journey! I’ve been blessed with some amazing mom’s in my life and I wanted to do a little something to make Mother’s day special for them this year! And what is better than a few hours spent chatting with friends, sipping wine, snacking and doing a little DIY pampering? All while enjoying some gorgeous flowers and the afternoon sunshine.

I spent a recent Sunday afternoon doing all this and more with some of my favorite people and it was pretty much heavenly!

I had so many ideas on how to make this a fabulous afternoon, and I am so glad I was able to pull it all together!! I knew I wanted a “picnic” area with vintage sheet quilts and pillows – a place to relax and lounge and chat and that was the start of my plan to create a beautiful place to make Mother’s Day special!

Throw pillows in vintage pillow cases, a few quilts I have made, stacked books, flowers and a spot to set our wine glasses were just the thing to make this a cozy and relaxing spot.

No celebration is complete with out some beautiful flowers! fiftyflowers.com sent me a gorgeous bundle of blush, cream and lavender flowers and some greenery to put together some beautiful arrangements! Oriental Trading sent me the adorable lantern and milk bottles + holder to arrange flowers in. They add so much charm! My friends loved the milk bottles + holder flowers so much they kept threatening to steal them!

Easy Celebration Idea #1

Arrange your own flowers! Its easy and so rewarding! The trick to fabulous florals? Keep adding to your arrangement until you like it! That’s what I did and they turned out fantastic!

Make Mother's Day Special with these Easy Celebration Ideas and Delicious Wines from Personal Wines!

No celebration is complete with out delicious beverages and wine! Personal Wine sent me a sparkling wine and sparkling apple cider to share with my guests. They even included Mother’s Day labels on the bottles! These are the perfect addition to make Mother’s Day special!

Easy Celebration Idea #2

Make flower ice cubes to add to your wine to keep it cool! I did this by filling muffin tins 1/2 way with water and adding flowers and petals. Freeze for a few hours. Then add more water to fill and freeze again. Take them out 15 minutes before the start of your party, so they’ll pop out of the tin easily, and add to your wine bucket!

Of course food is necessary for any party. But it doesn’t have to be super elaborate or complicated. Cookies, fruit and something crunchy like pretzels or veggies should satisfy your guests. And don’t worry about having to do the baking yourself! Get cookies from your local bakery or order them online! (Bang Cookies sent these DELICIOUS and HUGE cookies for us to enjoy and oh boy did we ever! USE SALTCOOKIE20 for a special discount! )

Easy Celebration Idea #3

If you’re celebrating outside, make sure you have something to cover your food with! Nobody wants to bite into a bug! Plus they add some charm to your party table.

We got our pampering on with some easy DIY Essential Oil Scrubs. We made had sugar hand scrubs and sea salt foot scrubs. Each guest got to customize dresses their scrub with essential oils of their choosing. We had a lot of fun picking scents and trying different combinations. Not only is this an easy way to make Mother’s day special, its the perfect little take home gift for your guests!

This looks like a fun way to spend mother’s day. My son’s not old enough for wine, but we could do with a juice cocktail. Although, he does love candles, so that may be a good selling point for him lol. Thank you for sharing!

Flowers and a bottle of wine or champagne would be nice. I love seeing my mother smile and know that she’s happy. Gifts don’t need to be expensive to bring her happiness.

That wine bucket is an adorable touch. We all get together so it would be fun to make everyone labels who is a Mother that day-my SIL and Mom, etc..
