Pink Heels Pink Truck

Every month I join a group of fabulous women for an online book group! We have a twitter party, write a blog post answering the same questions and read the same book! It’s the first book club of any kind that I’ve been involved in and I’m loving it! If you’re interested in joining, click the button above and learn more from Taylor at Pink Heels Pink Truck 🙂

This Months Questions:

1. If you could write a book, what would it be about? Pretty sure I’d write a semi-fictional account of my own life. Enough craziness has happened to me over the years that with a little extra pizzazz (also to keep people who know me from figuring out what is fact and fiction) it would be a pretty good read! Also I already have the perfect title… but I’m not going to tell you what it is ;)You know, in case I some day work up the nerve to actually write it!
2. If you had to read one book or trilogy for the rest of your life, what would it be? I’d go with book series… There are 6 books in the O’Malley series and its a series I usually read at least once a year 🙂 In fact, now that I think about it, I’m due to read them again 🙂 I love them because they have a little suspense, drama, mystery, with a dash of romance and the good guys always win… a must have for this overly romantic heart of mine.
3. Who is your current favorite book character and why? Oh geesh.. I read so many book on a regular basis that its hard to have a favorite! They’re all kind of jumbled up in my head! I just finished Safe Haven and Katie/Erin is definitely still kicking around my brain 🙂
4. Is there a book your read every year during the holiday season? If so, what is it and why? There is not any one book that I HAVE to read. I usually re-read the O’Malley series this time of year, also on the nights I’m a little home sick I’ll pick up a Nancy Drew 🙂
5. Do you have any books on your Christmas list? Name a few. I love anything by Clive Cussler, in particular the new Dirk Pitt novel “Poseidon Arrow”. I also would love to just go crazy on Amazon and load up on a much of Kindle books 🙂
6. What is a book you read and loved that you didn’t expect to? Honestly, I don’t get a book unless I’m sure I’m going to enjoy it. I don’t usually read a book when it first comes out, I wait until it has some reviews and someone recommends it before I’ll pick it up 🙂

What are you reading right now?

I only use book reviews as additional information to decide whether or not I will purchase a book. With the amount of misinformation out there and so many differences in personal tastes you kinda have to take the reviews with a grain of salt.

    Love your answers!

You should totally write that book! I'm tired of reading autobiographies from female bloggers who have done nothing with their lives- yours, I know, would be compelling and fun!
