As much as I love the Holidays -the family time, the decorations, the crafts and baking – there is one part of this time of year that I absolutely dread. The Cleaning!! Growing up, we weren’t allowed to do anything holiday related until the house was cleaned, from top to bottom. Its a habit that I’ve carried into my adult years. Not my favorite part, but a necessary one, especially since it makes hosting a holiday party or two much easier! I’ve put together some free printables to make that holiday prep and planning easy!
I am a list junkie. Seriously. I LOVE lists… there is just something magical about crossing something off a to do list! It makes me happy!! I’ve put together some check lists and fill-in-the-blank list printables to help you stay organized and to make your holiday prep and planning the easiest its ever been!

There is one thing on that preparation list… one thing that must be done, that I dislike more than almost anything… Vacuuming! Please tell me I am not alone in my dislike for this common household chore!?!?!? Maybe its because its one of the chores I was often asked to do as a kid, or maybe its the bulky vacuums and tangly annoying cords, but I reeeaaaalllllllllllyyyyyy dislike vacuuming!
At least, I used to.
Hoover sent me their Air Cordless Lift vacuum and I am in LOVE! I’ve never, ever been excited to vacuum before, but I find myself vacuuming multiple times a day because its EASY. My favorite feature is that there is no cord! I used to get it trouble for not wrapping the cord up properly when I was through… now there isn’t a cord to fight with or put away!
No cord means you have freedom to move around my home with ease; no plugging and unplugging, no winding and rewinding and most importantly, no tripping, tugging or tangling! Plus the core of the vacuum lifts away from the main vacuum head, this makes getting vacuuming the nooks, crannies, baseboards and ceiling corners super easy!
Only the cordless line is powered by an interchangeable battery system that works with all products in the Hoover cordless line. The
LithiumLife batteries have double the capacity of Hoover’s standard 18-volt lithium Ion batteries which means longer run-time and fade-free power.
Windtunnel 3 technology provides performance; suction power to lift and remove dirt. There is also a “boost” button that gives you a little extra suction power when you need it!
So now, with my Hoover Cordless Lift Vacuum and my handy-dandy holiday prep and planning printables, this holiday season and the parties I am planning on hosting are sure to be a breeze!

I just love the idea of a cordless vacuum! Cords are such a hassle!
That is such a genius idea!! I’m putting it on my holiday wish list haha!!
I remember things being the same in my house growing up. We couldn’t put the tree up or decorate until the house was completely cleaned. I will definitely be putting these printables to good use! I really should look into a cordless vacuum. I hate cord tangles!
I LOVE LISTS! You made my holiday so much easier!
