This DIY Book Page Bunny Bunting craft is brought to you in part by Oriental Trading. All opinions are my own.
I love Easter! Its easily one of my favorite holidays! Not just for what it represents, but also because its a celebration of spring and life! That just begs for fun crafts and decor to help with the celebration!
This DIY Book Page Bunny Bunting is perfect for adding to your mantel, wall or dessert table.
One of my favorite things to do is to make a fun new seasonal bunting that’s unique and easy for each party I throw. This year it was an outdoor spring party. But this this would also be perfect for spring or even a bunny themed baby shower.
It’s so easy, you’ll want to make them for any event you can sneak a cute bunny bunting into. LOL!
I love a quick and easy DIY project, and this DIY Book Page Bunny Bunting is no exception! What to make your own? Here’s what you’ll need…
- Easter Bunny Bunting Set
- yarn (I used yellow, but you could use any or all spring colors)
- an old book
- scissors
- hot glue and glue gun
- foam brush
- mod podge matte
Step 1. Rip up a bunch of pages from your old book. A mix of small and medium pieces works best. Set them aside.
Step 2. Prep your work space. You’ll want to lay down some old news paper or a washable craft mat.
Step 3. Use the foam brush to apply a coat of the matte mod podge glue to one of the bunny pieces. Stick various sized pieces of book page and the top with a layer of glue. Cut and trim the paper pieces to fit the edges.
Repeat until the whole bunny piece is covered. Let dry completely.
Step 4. Using your yarn, make some pom poms! This tutorial from I Should be Mopping the Floor is super easy if you haven’t ever made your own pom poms before. You’ll need 1 for each bunny “butt” and 1 for in between the bunnies when they’re hanging. Hot glue to the bunny to create the “tail”.
Step 5. Once your bunny is totally dry cut/clear out the holes so you can string it on the line.
Step 6. String your bunnies and pom poms, alternating between pom pom’s and bunnies.
Once everything is on your string your DIY Book Page Bunny Bunting is ready to go! And isn’t it so stinking adorable?
I am so in love with how this darling DIY Book Page Bunny Bunting turned out! Stay tuned later this week because I’ve got another really cute book page bunny craft for Easter! 🙂
And don’t forget to pin this easy bunny bunting to your favorite Easter crafts board on Pinterest so you can find it again quick when you need a reminder on how to make this cuteness!

Love this! A lot of Easter decor seems to be overly bright and plastic looking that makes it seem very cheap, but this is such a fun, cute, and classic idea! I adore it!
