Cover Robin Reveal!

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

If you’ve been around this little’ole blog of mine for any length of time, you know that I love swaps! In fact one of my main love languages is gifts… so getting fun surprises makes my whole week! The Covert Robin swap hosted by Imagine Gnats and several other creative bloggers is one of my favorite swaps of the year! The participants are always incredibly talented and I’ve gotten great gifts both years I’ve participated 🙂 Now its time to show off our Covert Robin Reveal!

This year I was matched with Erin from Just Plain Lovely. Since it’s a secret swap, we have to do a little snooping/stalking/poking around 🙂 After doing a little pinterest sleuthing, I discovered that she likes owls, hand-made stuff and hoops… so I put it all together and created this hoop for her 🙂

When Erin emailed me to tell me she got her gift, she told me that the colors I picked go perfectly with her soon to be redecorated office! I couldn’t be happier that she loves her gift 🙂

Other than the Stately Love cozies that I recently added to the shop, this is the first embroidery that I’ve done and my very first hoop. Suffice it to say I’m hooked!

Since sending this off to Erin I’ve completed several custom Stately Love Pillows and some new hoops that will soon be in the shop 🙂

Now I get to show off the gift that I received from Kim at Windsor & Main. I had to borrow one of the images that Kim posted in her reveal post. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to take pictures to show off my goodies 🙂

I ABSOLUTELY love the clutch and pencil-case that Kim made for me 🙂 The pencil-case currently has all my favorite/daily used pens and markers in it 🙂 The fabric in the clutch is very much something that I would have picked out for myself! Kim did a very good job with her sleuthing! Thanks so much girl!

In my opinion this was a very successful swap! Be sure to follow the hosts if you want to join in on the fun next year.

That's beautiful! I want to get into embroidery, but I imagine it's not great for my eyesight 🙂

I love the embroidery you did! Did you have a pattern, or make it up yourself, or what? And the two clutches are really cute….sounds like the Covert Robin yielded some serious talent!

Thanks Beth 🙂 This one based off a free coloring printable I found. I changed it a bit to make it my own 🙂 I've got some hoops that I just need to photograph and then I can add them to the shop! 🙂 Hopefully by tomorrow.

Thank you again, Jennifer:). You did such an amazing job and I'm still amazed that you just started embroidery! I can't wait to get my darn office painted so I can pick the perfect spot for this little beauty!

Your first embroidery looks similar to what I call my very best of work.
