Atlanta in the Spring (things to do)

Visiting Atlanta, Georgia has always been on my bucket list. I have heard great things about this state! Whether you are going solo or taking your family with you, there is a never-ending list of things you can do. Check out some of these things to do while in Atlanta this spring.

Catch a Brave’s game

Yes, this is a must whenever you’re headed to Atlanta. Heading to the Brave’s game would be an amazing memory for you to make. Opening day tailgate starts on April 10th! Don’t forget to grab your Brave’s gear before the big game.

Head to a festival

I have never seen so many festivals available. When heading to Atlanta this spring, you will see so many festival choices. One of my favorites and something I want to visit would be Marietta Greek Festival. This festival is full of amazing Greek festival. There is never a better time to learn about the heritage of the Greek people than through a festival. Make sure you see what festivals are available when you will be in town. You won’t be disappointed.

Grab an Atlanta City Pass

There are a ton of attractions in Atlanta for families or individuals to see. The best way to get to see these attractions without going broke is to get the Atlanta City pass. This year, there are several new items to check out while in Atlanta, including Center for Civil and Human Rights and the College Football Hall of Fame! Make sure you grab your pass, you’ll save at least 43% off.

Six Flags Over Georgia

Is your family ready for a little adventure? Six Flags Over Georgia is one fun place for the whole family. There is even a new ride called RIO: The 4-D Experience. There are so many attractions you will love doing and seeing.

Atlanta Beltline

Do you love to be active? It’s time to enjoy the Atlanta Beltline! This Beltline connects you to tons of trails across the great city. You can walk, run, bike, or skate. Make sure you check it out this spring when you are in Atlanta.

Before you hit the road, make sure you get your vehicle checked out. You will want to have a decent vehicle while you are traveling through Atlanta. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on all of the beautiful things available in this awesome city.

Atlanta is such a fun city–we love it there and there are always cheap flights between our closest airport in Austin going to and from Atlanta!
