I do love a good sugar scrub! Especially one that smells amazing! This Apple Butter Brown Sugar Scrub is almost like taking a bath in an apple pie. Crazy right? But SO divine!

I do love a good sugar scrub! Especially one that smells amazing! This Apple Butter Brown Sugar Scrub is almost like taking a bath in an apple pie.

I love sugar scrubs because the oils moisturize and provide nutrients for your skin, while the sugar gently exfoiliates, removing dirt and old skin cells. Not to mention that they usually smell pretty amazing too!

Materials:

Apple essential oil
Butter extract
1 c. Brown sugar
½ c. Olive oil

making Apple Butter Brown Sugar Scrub

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of brown sugar, and ½ cup of olive oil. If the mixture is too runny for your liking, add in a bit more brown sugar until you reach a consistency you are happy with.
  2. Pour in a little butter extract. A little goes a long way with this extract, so be careful not to add too much.
  3. Add in several drops of apple essential oil.
  4. Mix well to combine your scrub, and place it in a container for use or gifting.

The other reason I love making my own sugar scrubs is becuase they’re SO Easy! They also make great gifts – just make a pretty label, tie a ribbon around the jar and gift away!

Do you love DIY sugar scrubs too?
