Motivational Monday

I’m busy recouping from an INSANE weekend and trying to catch up on the never ending to do list. I thought I’d take a moment and share a quote that has been motivating me lately…

I Have Learned - Quote from Dan Millman - BusyBeingJennifer.com

I have  have a hard time saying no to things. And then I end up trying to do ALL the things at the SAME time! Not exactly good for my stress levels or for my sanity! So I’ve been breaking up my day and my to do list according to priorities… Blog/Shop, Projects, Life and Home. I’ve also setting a timer on my phone to remind me when its time to move on to the next section of my to do list. Its made a HUGE difference to my productivity level! I’m the crazy kind of person that thrives on routine and works best under a little bit of pressure. I tend to turn things into a game, like “how many things can I check off my to do list before the time goes off” type of games.

Scheduling out my to do list and adjusting my priorities based on what time I have available in that day make all the difference for me! And help me be more productive 🙂

Good thing to remember on this Monday morning. I feel stressed and pulled in so many directions.

That's a nice one. I truly have trouble prioritizing. I need to really work on making my actions line up better with my priorities – otherwise my goals end up are EXACTLY to do everything at the same time!

I just said no to my boss today when he asked if I could work an extra shift. I felt amazing.
