I wore Pink Every Day In October!

I wore Pink Every Day In October! Did you? At the beginning of the month I told you that I was going to be wearing pink everyday for the next 31 days… Well, I did it! Something pink EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Busy Being Jennifer wore something Pink every day in october! #pinkeverydayinoctober

The first week was easy. The second wasn’t too bad… but by the third week I was having to get creative and maybe just a little bit tired of pink! The fourth week was a challenge because I wasn’t feeling very well… but I did it! There were a few days where I had to show you something else that was pink, cause I wasn’t posting my underwear on instagram, but I think that’s perfectly ok.

Jennifer from BusyBeingJennifer.com wore Pink Everyday in October!

These pictures are out of order, but that’s ok too. What maters is that there are 31 of them ๐Ÿ™‚

Why did I wear pink ever single day, you ask? I did it because I wanted to be purposeful this month. I wanted to remind people to think of their loved ones everyday. I wanted women to look at this and say “oh yeah, time for a self examine”. I wanted to get people talking and thinking about what all the pink in October represents. But mostly I did it to honor my Nana, to remember her every day, and to make her proud.

Next year I’m going to be turning this into a challenge and a link up. Will you join me next year?

Oh my goodness…that is impressive! And what a sweet way to remember your Nana. I would definitely be interested in joining next year…although I don't think I own one single item of pink clothing!

I owned more pink than I thought… but when I plan it for next year, I'm going to start promoting it early and maybe do a couple tutorials so people can stock up on pink to wear ๐Ÿ™‚

What a wonderful tribute to all the women fighting and surviving breast cancer. I showed my daughter your post and she said she needs 30 pink cheer bows for next year. I think that was a challenge.

This is the first time I have seen this and what a great idea I know you had to get creative. The nails would have been the first thing I did.

What an awesome thing! I wear pink a lot but I definitely make an effort to wear it more in October. This is such a good cause and I don't think that we can ever bring enough awareness.

When I see someone wearing pink, I don't necessarily think about anything specific like self exams… but it's great that you were able to be purposeful for the entire 31 days! That's a lot of creativity. I don't think I own more than 2 pink things. ๐Ÿ™‚

That's totally awesome! I don't think I have enough pink to make it through a whole month! If only I could raise awareness and honor my friends and family by wearing black every day! ๐Ÿ™‚ My whole wardrobe is mostly black!
