5 Ways to Keep Up with Your Kitchen

I cannot tell you how hard it is to keep up with my kitchen at times. It’s crazy how messy it can get after a busy day or after cooking dinner. I had to buckle down and figure out some ways to keep up with my kitchen. Let me share some of these tips with you!

Get the family to help

One of the only ways I have been able to keep up with the kitchen is to ask for help. It’s amazing how willing my family was when I did ask them to start helping. Sometimes us work from home rockstars think we can do it all, but we can’t. Asking for help was a breath of fresh air and I’m thankful my family stepped up to the plate.

Clean as I go

I used to wait until my kitchen was a complete disaster and then I would clean it. Not any more, I clean as I go. It may take a little extra time along the way, but it’s worth it. Because then I do not have a huge mess at the end to clean up.

Utilize as many hacks as possible

Something else I have started doing to help keep up with my kitchen is researching kitchen hacks. There are so many hacks out there to help me get my kitchen clean and organized. Hey, if there are short cuts out there to help make my life easier, I want to know about them.

Declutter when you can

Listen, kitchens are the worse when it comes to clutter. I spend a little time each day decluttering my kitchen. When you don’t have the extra junk lying around, it’s amazing how much easier it is to deal with your kitchen. Spending a few minutes each day can really help you keep your sanity.

Use Hefty Ultra Strong Kitchen Trash Bags

Hefty Ultra Strong Kitchen Trash Bags are their strongest bags to date, and they’re cheaper than glad bags! One of the things I love about these trash bags is that there is Arm & Hammer patented odor neutralizer. I LOVE the citrus scented ones! My kitchen smells good, even when the trash can is full. Plus, they have a break resistant grip drawstring…  which is super handy when you have a new puppy that tries to attack the full bags you’re taking out to the curb.

Speaking of taking bags to the curb… that is when someone with some muscle would come in handy! Those bags get HEAVY! Oh how I wish John Cena would show up and save the day!

And lets be honest… I’d probably still offer to “help” carry those bags… just so I could accidentally bump into him… or maybe fall, so he could catch me. *Sigh*

Back to reality now girls! Since John Cena isn’t around to take out the garbage for us, we’d better just get the best garbage bags on the market!

Hefty’s bags are also available at Walmart for a new lower price. Now you can keep your kitchen in order and not break the bank.
