Yesterday I shared part one of my 35 things about me, and I am back today with the second half of the list – I was getting too wordy, and decided to breakthings up to make it easier for y’all to read. Aren’t I nice? 😉
#21. I don’t know how to sit and watch TV without something in my hands. Yes I’m serious. If I’m not stitching or crocheting something, I fidget like crazy and annoy anyone around me. Sooooo I stitch or crochet when I watch TV.
#22. All of my animals are named after blogging things. Bitly (link shortening service) and Buffer (social media scheduler) are our dogs, and WordPress, aka Pressley (the platform I use for creating my blog) is our cat. Yes, I’m odd. Nope, I don’t care. 😉
#23. Its taken me 32 ish years to get comfortable in my own skin. This right here could be a whole month of blog posts, and I still have some things to work out and a few health goals I am working on, but I LOVE myself and my life and the journey that has brought me to where I am. And I am pretty proud of this fact!
#24. I was “the fat kid” my entire childhood and into early adulthood. My weight is something that I have struggled with for as long as I can remember.
#25. I’ve lost 53 pounds in the last 16 months and I am pretty damn proud of myself.
#26. I cuss a lot in real life. I try to keep my online language cleaner, but if we’ve hung out, chances are I’ve dropped a few “F-bombs” with out really noticing. Sorry Mom.
#27. My hand embroidery and stitching work is as theraputic for me as actual thereapy. It gives me a chance to relax, be creative and stab something a whole bunch of times.
#28. Blogging has taught me a LOT! And not just about this industry, but about myself and about people.
#29. I would be utterly lost with out the connections that blogging has brought me. In fact, I’d probably be curled up in a ball in some padded room somewhere.
#30. I have a slightly morbid sense of humor (incase you hadn’t noticed)
#31. I have learned (YES, its a process) to be inherently optimistic and look on the bright side.
#32. I believe that God is real, the univerese (aka God) has only the best instore for me, and that I fully control my destiny via the wordss I speak and my thought life.
#33. I love giving things away or donating to auctions/fundraisers. Its one of the main driving force behind my creative businesses.
#34. I have 5.5 tattoos. (the half being a redo/cover up from my very first tattoo) and I’ll probably get more at some point.
#35. I am an old soul – I LOVE Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin and if I could have picked the era I would have been born in, it would have been the 20’s/30’s. I’ve got several records that I play on repeat when the mood strikes (and it strikes often) and without fail they cheer me up (if required), get my creative juices flowing and have me dancing around the house!
So thats 35 things about me (read part one here). I have to admit that was far easier than I anticipated and I could probably go on for another 35 things… but nobody wants or needs that much information about little old me 😉
Here’s what you need to know about me in a nut shell…
I am a creative soul that loves life, laughing and impacting those around me for the better. I love helping, lists are one of my love languages (the other is coffee) and I fully believe that life is meant to be lived to the fullest!

I agree with you. Embroidery is actually therapeutic, it freshens up the entire mood no matter how much worse it went.
