Before I moved to Texas, I dreamed of having a fancy backyard and a gigantic garden. After moving to Texas, reality set it in… yards and gardens are a TON of work! I’ve curbed my expectations a little bit and decided to start with something a little smaller and a lot more manageable! Raised garden beds are all the rage right now and definitely something I can handle with my limited gardening skills! Know I just have to decide which raised garden bed idea is the right one for me 🙂

Being a Gardener is no joke, that I know! But I’m really hoping that my “reputation” for having a “black thumb” won’t come true this spring! And don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated on my gardening adventures once I settle on a plan 🙂
Do you have a garden? Got any tips for this raised garden bed and gardening newbie?

Thanks for sharing these tips. My grama would love to follow one of these, she will be happy if I will share this to her. She may be living in a flat right now at but there’s a space for her to do gardening.

We have a square foot garden in raised beds, works great! Only problem we had was corn – I read 4 stalks per square but I think that's a bit much. Thanks for sharing with Snickerdoodle Sunday!
