I’m busy hanging out with my hubby and doing all kinds of random things during our vacation 🙂 I’ll tell you all about it next week! But I wanted to pop in and show you the one thing that I have been working on lately.
This is what 50 granny squares look like. They’re about 5.5 inches big. I am thinking that I need to double+ these 50 in order to make the afghan the size that I want. Definitely going to keep me busy in my spare time!
Lets just hope that my wrist holds up! Might have to take a sewing break 🙂
I shared this photo on instagram last thursday. My mother-in-law and I did some thrifting (aka pyrex hunting)! We found some amazing deals! Know that I know what I am looking for, I’m finding more and more pyrex all over the place. I’m hoping to check out some other thrift stores as Hubs and I run errands and get some shopping done this week 🙂 And in case you haven’t noticed… I’ve developed quite a pyrex obsession 😀

My mom made me a quilt out of granny squares, they took a long time to make. She enjoyed having a project to tote around with her all over town while working on it. They're addictive!
