What To Wear: The Holiday Party Fashion

Happy Holidays Busy Being Jennifer readers! I cannot believe it is that time of year again! Holiday parties are popping up left and right and if you are anything like me, you fret about what to wear to them for a month before hand. I usually don’t know until the moment I’m walking out the door for the event….and even then I question my own judgement. Haha! Well, I’m here today with a few outfit ideas for both a dressy holiday party and a casual one!

What to wear to the holiday partyGlitter is ALWAYS in during the holidays! Well, if you are anything like me, glitter is ALWAYS in! Haha! There are just so many ways to do glitter, and the ideas above are just a few. With a fully glittered dress like the one on the left, I believe the best way to work it is with some simple accessories. You don’t want to over “glitterfy” yourself with a bunch of sparkly bangles or necklaces, but a pair of simple earrings does the trick just right! For this look, I went with a “Christmas” color theme with the red and green, but you could easy go with any other color set to match your parties theme!

The outfit on the right is for those of you who don’t do dressy or whose holiday party is of the more casual spectrum. I love the buffalo check top and glitter top mix. Plaid is a great way to bring down the glittery shirt into a more casual realm. I love it because its casual with a touch of sass.

I’m so excited to get my holiday party fashion on! What kind of holiday parties will you be going to this year? What are you wearing ?
