Surviving Crazy – Tips on getting through the CRAZY days

Post disclosure

Ever notice how things seem to pile up at once until you feel like your brain is about to explode?? Yep, that’s been my life the past 10 days. While I’m no expert on managing stress, I’ve had to learn how to get through some of the crazy days the hard way! Today I am sharing with you 6 tips on Surviving Crazy!

How to Survive Crazy Days

1. Know your limits.

We all like to think we can handle just about everything, but sometimes the reality is just the opposite. Pushing past what you can handle mentally and physically can be dangerous!

2. Walk away.

Every once in a while you just have to walk, or sometimes run, away from the stressful situation!

3. Find your happy place.

Lately I’ve been spending more and more time outside in on a blanket reading a book. Pretty sure this its my happiest place… especially since its been just a touch cooler here in Texas the past week or two 🙂

4. Take a deep Breath

Seriously. Inhale. Exhale. See? Better already! Every once in a while I just have to remind myself to breath, take a moment and just breath.

5. Do something for yourself.

Forget everyone else and do something that will make you feel good, even if its only for a few moments.

6. Hydrate!

Yep, hydrate. Our bodies need water, and I know that when I get stressed I kind of forget about drinking ( or sometimes eating) altogether!

Lately I’ve been combining all 6 of these tips into a blissful break…

Lately I seem to be doing this a lot - busybeingjennifer.com

When I’ve reached my limit and need to just get away, I grab a quilt, a book, something to drink, some water and head out to the back yard. This is my Happy Place. I can breathe out here, escape into a book for a while, and feel the tension and stress fade away.

Of course its nice to spice up what you’re drinking and get away from the same old boring water. I’ve fallen in love with Ozarka’s Sparkling Lime water. Sometimes I even spruce it up a bit 😉

How do you survive crazy? Have you found your happy place?

Ahhh… sounds so wonderful to just sit on a blanket and catch up on a good book!! We haven't had a break in the heat yet, though, and I love the reminder to hydrate!! Pinning!

I send the husband out with his friends, and I take a nice long bath, put on pjs and just laze out in front of the tv. That's how I chill.
