Back in August I got to go on a quilting retreat. The very first quilt top I worked on was all fabric from Modern Yardage. I fell in love with the feel and quality of the fabric I got… and I’m hooked! I was so excited for April and the Modern Yardage team, when I found out about their nomination for Martha Stewart’s American Made contest. Now they’ve made it to the final round! Squeeeeeeeeee!! I asked April to drop by and share more about Modern Yardage, what they do and the contest they are in!
I’m glad to have the chance to write for you on Jennifer’s blog today. I’m April, the owner of Modern Yardage, a new fabric company that prints fabric on-demand as you order it. We are unique not only because we print on demand but also because we print right here, in the US. Because of the technology that we use, we are able to stay on-trend and respond to the demands of the market almost immediately. Our prints become available within a couple weeks from when they are designed by our exclusive designers rather than the old method of printing overseas, which means waiting 6 months – 1 year before prints become available. We also throw in all kinds of patterns and other freebies for our customers.

Yes. Can you believe it? What an honor! We won the technology category and are so thrilled about it.
