Selfish Spring Sewing

I have been BUSY lately. Busy making all kinds of things for the spring and summer market events that are coming up, keeping up with custom orders AND making new goodies for the shop! Despite all of this making I have been itching to do some selfish spring sewing…

Selfish Summer Sewing - BusyBeingJennifer.com

I want a new bag, maybe a top or two, an infinity scarf and 90 other things! I keep promising myself that I am going to find the time, scratch that, MAKE the time to do some FUN sewing, and these are the 6 projects I’m going to start with!

6 Selfish Spring Sewing Projects - BusyBeingJennifer.com

1. Easy Spring Infinity Scarf from Sew Dang Cute Crafts. This one really does sound easy and I bet it would be a quick project two! Thats 2 major points in this projects favor!

2. Spring Ruffle Top from Made by Rae for Sew Mama Sew. There is so much to love about this gorgeous top! Its light and airy, and doesn’t require a fixed pattern! Which means this plus-sized girl can still make one! PLUS I have the perfect fabrics! I’m thinking this might be my first selfish spring sewing project!

3. Spring Dress Book Mark from Amora’s Crafts.  This tutorial isn’t in english, but don’t let that stop you, the pictures show you everything you need to do. I’ve been on quite the reading kick lately, so this would be perfect!

4. Spring Pinwheel Potholders from Schlosser Designs. All of the potholders in this house are old and worn out and in desperate need of replacement! These are adorable and exactly what I need!

5. Spring Top Pattern from Verdant Bents. Another cute and relatively easy pattern/tutorial. Pretty cure I could whip this one up too!

6. Louisa Bag {Pattern by Clover and Violet}. I’ve already made one of these awesome bags, but a second one is definitely on my list! I’m thinking pinks and purples this time!

Its time to do some Selfish Spring Sewing! Check out these fun and springy project ideas!

Ahhhhhh… I so wish I could sew! That is more of my mom’s and sister’s area of expertise though. 😉 Maybe I can convince one of them to make me one of those super cute tops in exchange for some cookies or a cake? lol!
