Pumpkin Spice Face Wash

Mmmmmm Pumpkin Spice. I want to pumpkin spice ALL THE THINGS! And I think I will starting with my face wash. Yes. Thats right, my Face Wash!! This pumpkin spice face wash is great for fall and winter months and would even make the perfect homemade gift!  These ingredients don’t just smell amazing; they work, too!

Here’s how:

Molasses has many amazing health benefits.  Molasses contains lactic acid which helps relieve the symptoms of acne.

Pumpkin Spice is made up of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and ginger.  The finely ground spice helps exfoliate skin.

Olive oil is used in this mix to moisturize.

Ingredients:

3 Tablespoons Molasses

1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Spice

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Mix the ingredients well and store in an airtight container.  To use wet skin and apply in gentle circular motions, rinse with warm water and pat dry.

    This is BRILLIANT. Lactic acid is a gentle emollient, so it’ll soften your skin. And cinnamon increases circulation, so that aids healing. And clove (oil, at any rate) is a natural antiseptic so it has cleaning powers already. Brilliant combo! Does it wash off OK with just water, or do you have to scrub it off?
