One of the sweetest, kindest lady from my church is on her way to meet the Lord. She had surgery recently and has had some major complications. The family is taking her off life support today. The Doctors say it won’t be long before she passes on. Please pray for peace for the family and for those impacted by her passing.
My heart is breaking for the family she leaves behind and a little bit for myself. Miss Katy was one of the first people to welcome me to Texas and to make me feel at home at church. I can’t imagine not seeing her Sunday mornings. She always had a kind word for everyone.
She will be dearly missed.
I'm so sorry for you, and for her family, in this very difficult time. She obviously is a woman of faith, and I hope it it'll bring comfort to you all, knowing that she's going to see her Savior. Years ago, my Mama used to say, "when it's my time to go, don't cry for me….because I'll be in the precious arms of Jesus: no sadness, or sickness…just joy!" Those words have given me tremendous comfort since I lost her 2 years ago. I hope you'll remember the same of your friend, that she'll too be in the precious arms of Jesus! Thank you so much! At church yesterday they were singing songs about how awesome heaven is and the whole congregation was in tears. Miss Katy is rejoicing with her Savior!
