Let’s make some delicious peanut butter smoothie bowls! Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowls are a superb way to enjoy a delicious, wholesome meal, or snack, and they are really easy and quick to make too. You only need a few ingredients, and most are pantry staples.
This recipe for peanut butter smoothie bowls has quickly become one of my go to’s for busy mornings! If you’ve never made a smoothie bowl before, you might be surprised at just how easy they are to whip up!
But I’ll warn you now, they are highly addictive!
How to Make Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowls
To get started with these delicious smoothie bowls, you’ll need just a few simple ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 1 banana
- ½ cup of ice
- 1 cup of the milk of your choice
- Sliced bananas
- Chocolate chips
- Coconut (This is optional)
Making the Smoothie Bowl is really easy! First, take your peanut butter, banana, ice, and milk (of your choice) and put them in your blender. A food processor could also work for this step, but you’ll get the best results with a blender, and the blend is everything when it comes to making a perfect smoothie bowl for breakfast.
Some blenders have multiple functions- including a smoothie function!- so make sure you’re selecting the right function for the consistency you like for your smoothies. I prefer mine really finely whipped, so I try to use a higher setting, but you might like it with more of a milkshake consistency. In that case, you might try blending it a little less time.
After you have your smoothie blended, pour it in into a bowl. Use the sliced bananas, chocolate chips, and coconut (if you prefer!) to garnish the top. Chia seeds are also a fabulous way to add some nutritional value.
If you want to add some additional toppings, go for it! I love adding fresh berries as a topping for mine! Think PB & J, but better!
You have yourself a delicious Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl!
