Make Them Smile

Campus Book Rentals

Operation Smile is an international children’s medical charity that heals children’s smiles, forever changing their lives.

Reya and hew new, beautiful smile!

Did you know that every three minutes a child is born with a cleft? One in 10 of those children will die before their first birthday. The children who survive are often unable to eat, speak, socialize or smile. In some places, they are shunned and rejected. And in too many cases, their parents can’t afford to give them the surgeries they need to live a productive life. So very heartbreaking!

When I turned 30, I wrote a 40 before I’m 40 list. One of the things on that list, is going back to school. While I LOVE the idea and plan to make it a reality before too long, the expense of a college degree is daunting. Insert Campus Book Rentals! Not only do the help students ease the financial burden of books for classes they are also HUGE supporters of Operation Smile! If saving money wasn’t enough of a reason for me to use their services when the time comes, the fact that, through them, I’ll be helping make a boy or girl smile certainly is!

Along with their book rental program, Campus Book Rentals recently launched a new program, RentBack! Here’s how it works…

So if you are in school or planning to go back and you’d rather purchase your books, you can now get 2 to 4 times more money by renting them out through RentBack.com! AND you’re still supporting Operation Smile!

Win. Win. Win!

Books were super expensive back when I was in college in the late 80s, I can only imagine how expensive they would be now. This program is such a great idea, and really would save money on books you only needs for a few months.

I didn't use Campus Book Rentals when I was in college but it's a definite plus to be able to do so. Renting books saved me tons and to be able to sell them back as well. 🙂

This is a great idea! Just the other day I was having a conversation with my kids about what a "Cleft" is. I'll share this post with them and pass on the info to anyone I think it'll help.

Stopping by from the SITS tribe. If I was going to school I would definitely use this program.

Operation Smile is a great charity and I've supported them several times. I'm so glad that a company like Campus Book Rentals uses their name and money to support them as well 🙂
