I love my Maybook! + A giveaway!!

This post may contain affiliate or brand partner links. Read our full disclosure here.

So my life goes through phases… Completely-insane-busy-27-hours-a-day-never-sleeping phases and boring-sleep-for-16-hours-a-day-and-then-take-a-nap phases. No matter what phase I am in, I NEED to write stuff down! Otherwise I forget… I’m 29 and my brain is already starting to fail me *sigh* Especially when it comes to blogging. I’ll have an amazing idea for a post, and if I don’t write it down that very minute, chances are I’ll forget what it was.

Insert my blog planner… right now I am using a boring, plain, cheap monthly calender… but come January 1st I’ll be using this May Books beauty!!!

Believe it or not I am acutally getting the hang of this “being organized”thing! At least when it comes to blogging and I’ve already started filling posts for January! Yay me!

My new May Books planner perfect size to toss in my purse and have with me at all times. More often than not my “brilliant” ideas come when I’m out and about! I tend to get inspired by things I see and having my planner with me will definitely come in handy 🙂

The only thing I didn’t “like” about getting my planner? Having to narrow down my pattern choice to just one!!! There are so many fabulous options! These were my other favorite options…

Aren’t they gorgeous?? There are lots of options for personalizing your planner. And the ordering process is super easy!

I’m so thrilled to giving one of these May Books beauties away to a lucky reader!

Lol I usually don't stay very organized. When I am I usually take it day by day and I have to have my next day planned out by the time I go to bed.

I'm a major list-maker. I love using bins and jars and boxes to organize my craft closet and pantry. For my blog and schedule, I use google calendar.

I stay organized by having a monthly calendar on the refrigerator and I keep a calendar/planner in my purse at all times. My planner MUST have monthly *AND* weekly pages, or I would go crazy. Love these Maybooks!

How do I stay organized? I don't. I mean honestly, the best organiational tip I have is "Write on your palm important things you have to get done today so you won't forget." Example of something I've written on my palm so I don't forget it. "Shower." Yep, that's right…and that wasn't a baby shower. So I don't know that I should be giving out organizational advice.

OK…actually I do have one good tip…specifically related to planners like these. If I get this planner I will not be using it for a calendar/datebook. Why? I never remember to actually look in these things. Wall calendars help cause I actually have to walk by them, and the calender on my phone is useful because it beeps to remind me of things.

So why do I want one of these? Cause I use these types of calendars to track medical stuff. I put when I've gone to the doctor, when I gave out medicine, when people in my family get sick (amazing how useful that is when the doctor asks "So how long has this been going on?" and I'm like…"Um…..uh…well…huh."), when my last period was, etc. etc. All that stuff I DON'T want on a wall calendar…that belongs in a nice little tuck away book I can close.

I usually tend to pick up a monthly planner from Target around the time all of the school supplies come out, but to have one THE PERFECT SIZE to toss in my purse and have it customized would be a DREAM! xoxo
