Ya’ll know by now that Handmade is my Favorite and that I love meeting new makers and turning them into life long friends! Recently I not only met the talented Carrie from The Bitsy Button in REAL LIFE, I also discovered she lives just down the street!! We’ve become fast friends and have already had a few adventures together! I’m so glad to have met her, and now its your turn!

Tell us about how you got started…

I learned to crochet when I was 7 years old and after I got married in 2011, I picked it back up and decided to create a business out of it because I enjoyed it so much! I love to make things that are beautiful and useful as well.

What inspires your creative process? Why do you do what you do?

There’s nothing I love more than to see that someone loved what I made. When people buy something handmade they can know that a lot of thought and skill went into making the item. I’m always getting new ideas and reinventing old ones.
